Public feedback invited on disabled law's implementation

 　　BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature has invited the public to give feedback on the enforcement of the Law on Protection of the Disabled, in a bid to check the law's implementation¹.

　　Till June 30, the public can log on www.npc.gov.cn, the website of the National People's Congress (NPC), to record existing problems in the law's implementation and their suggestions, according to a statement issued on Wednesday by the NPC.

　　The public are also encouraged to write letters to the congress reflecting problems and advice concerning the law.

　　Additionally, field inspections² on the law's implementation have been ordered across the nation, according to the statement.

　　It cited inviting³ public feedback as an example of how the NPC is innovating⁴ on ensuring laws are implemented⁵, adding that opinions collected will be made public.

　　The amended⁶ Law on the Protection of the Disabled took effect on July 1, 2008, giving disabled people access to better medical care, financial support, fair job opportunities and favorable tax policies.
