中国足协:足管中心已经撤销 足协脱钩基本完成

 　　China has separated its football association from the government as a crucial step to inject more independence into the sport.

　　中国足协已经与政府脱钩，完成了赋予足球运动更大自主权的关键一步。

　　The Chinese Football Association (CFA) said on Wednesday that the government-run Chinese Football Administrative¹ Center, which virtually runs the game in the country, was removed last week, giving the CFA more latitude² in making decisions.

　　中国足协上周三表示，政府下属机构足球运动管理中心(足管中心)已在上周撤销，中国足协拥有了更大的决策自由。

　　The CFA said they will enjoy autonomy in personnel management, pay rate setting, foreign visits, finance, marketing³ and selection of national team coaches.

　　据中国足协介绍，在人员管理、薪酬体系、外事出访、财务和市场开发、国字号球队教练人选等方面，中国足协都已经有了自主权。

　　"We must develop and revitalize soccer to ensure we are a strong nation of sports," Xi, an avid⁴ football fan, told a meeting of the Central Reform Leading Group in March 2015.

　　In stark⁵ contrast to its huge success in many other sports, China has been struggling in soccer for decades and only ever qualified⁶ for the World Cup once, in 2002.
