Chapter 13. Throaty Consonants2
There are five consonant1 sounds that are produced in the throat: [h] [k] [g] [ng] [er]. Because R can be considered a consonant, its sound is included here. For pronunciation purposes, however, elsewhere this book treats it as a semivowel.
