A Read the passage.
Every eighteen months,computers double in speed and halve4 in price.
The main kinds of computers we use are:palmtops,notebooks,laptops and desktops5.
Palmtops are hte smallest because they fit in the palm of your hand.
They are light and have a small keyboard.Notebooks are bigger than palmtops with a larger keybo ard.
Laptops are even bigger,and they are heavier than palmtops and notebooks.
We call them laptops because you can put them on your lap while you work.
The biggest computers most of us use are desktops.
We use these at our desks and they have a full-size keyboard.
The biggest computers in the world are Crays.We use these to forecast the weather.
They can make billions of calculations a second!

They were the biggest and heaviest animals ever to live on earth.

Size is relative.When we say that an oak10 tree is very tall,we mean it is tall compared with similar trees.
But an oak tree is small compared with a giant redwood tree.
The tallest oak tree can grow to a maximum of forty meters.
But the giant redwood tree grows to a height of ninety meters.
The lowest branch of the biggest of the big trees forty-five meters from the ground1
