   Well it did. But it turns out, it doesn't remind me of the thing I thought it would; it reminds me constantly1 of something else instead.  不过确实是只是让我想起的不是我当初希望的;而常常是其他东西,它常常让我想起。

  Regret doesn't remind us that we did badly. It reminds us that we know we can do better. 遗憾并不是要提醒我们所做的糟糕行为,而是提醒我们可以做得更好。
