 To get very strong front and deep low sitting to the south of South Australia, the move near eastern front systems, the lash¹ will be through them between tonight and Sunday night. That will move around low pressure system introducing cold air each day as a path through the southeast. And severe weather warnings are widespread in New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria and South Australia. 

 

Now for Queensland, there’s a weak trough going to linger about the southeastern corner. They can trigger some isolated² coastal³ showers, even the potential of severe thunderstorm about the southern ranges. We are looking at the chance of some damaging winds with those storms.

 

Through New South Wales, mostly dry. A few showers developing about the northeast late in the day. Dry about the coast, but showers fairly widespread on the central and southern ranges, the ACT into snowy mountains and southwest slopes and all those areas south of the central Thailands and the Hunter under a severe weather warning. 

 

The /, the only area is not expecting damaging wind gusts⁴ in Victoria. Widespread showers, snow to 1000 meters and higher for many areas. 

 

We’ve got rain about the north and west Tasmania, thunderstorms as well. And we are expecting to see strong winds but not as bad as Mainland.

 

Strong and gusty⁵ conditions across South Australia. Widespread showers, possible moderate to heavy falls about the southern agriculture district and the coast. 

 

In Western Australia, they are relatively⁶ clear due to isolated showers about the south coast.
