A new report is warning Australia could be dropped from the world’s 20 largest economies by the middle of the century. The study by accounting1 firm PWC predicts Australia will fall to 28th place by 2050, slipping behind developing countries like Bangladesh and Iran. The report says Australian needs to move away from its reliance on mining and invest more in science and technology.
