As I interviewed thousands of people over twenty years' experient at the Excutive Curing Firm I owned in FIXZARAZUNA, I discovered that majority of people are not living with their passion. Instead, they are showing up for a job, clutching a paycheck, counting the day to the weekend, or counting the month untill next one week vocation1.
Client Ted2 has been in an insurance agency for the past 15 years. When his wife asked for divorce, his world changed. He started asking himself what should I do now and I never do the love insurance business. However, Ted also had what I consider (the golden hammocks).
How do you walk away form somthing that fosters you a great life style like Ted had? You don't, you keep that business going and growing as it always has. Even if you hired some part-time or temporary employees to get you through the transition, but then start looking what you really want to do.
Ted works through the process getting what he really wants in life. What he realised is he need be outdoors and walk in the soil. Of course, his insurance sale position never allowed him to do that. He started one little step a time, just by adding outdoor activities to his everyday life. His cashcow continued working for him, giving himself permission to be outdoor and walk in the earth.
Ted's now developing a part-time landscape company that he works on the weekends. I'm sure that the end of story for Ted will find him happier and more fulfiled being here than ever being in his life. Because he found what makes him happy as cause he is being.
