 I am Anderson Cooper. Welcome to the  podcast.  Justice tries again to secure a jail time for teen, who killed four people and got  probation¹. That's  ridiculous. Let's get started. 

 

A new effort to put a killer² behind bars. Because whatever else you can think of Eason Couch, he is a killer. 4 times  over, and got drunk, extremely drunk, ran his farther's pick up and took break down to a corner road in R  Texas in June. He was three times over the legal  limit. Only in his case, at the age of 16, he wasn't even legal to drink in the first place. He was convicted man slaughter³ but sentence  only to probation, and rehab, and likely going to this 450, 000 dollar a year California facility, paid for by his family. The judge, by a psychological testimonial,the young Eason was suffering from something called affluenza, the idea being that his wealthy parent has so completely indulged his prior bad  behavior, using capable taking responsibilities for his actions. In other words, the spoil bred offence, killing⁴ four people including B's wife and daughter. 

 

The primary message has that absolutely  that money and bribery⁵ can buy justice in this country. That, it is not OK to drink and drive and  get a few four people wounded, severely⁶ injured another, and not have any consequence. That's not the American dream that we grow up to participate in.Ans  I just don't understand. 

No. Not many people do. We simply don't understand how to get  away with things that they trialed with the title of  a young  adult to not get in prison for killing other people. Last week, the psychologist  in question came on the programs as you will hear could barely bring him to conceal⁷ that Carl even  killed anyone. 

 

If you commit a crime if you kill four people, you can not use that as an excuse. can you?

 

No, not in the term. When you use the world KILL , and people out in the  American hear that, it implies that there were some motive⁸. The motive was not good.

 

Are you saying he did not murder, kill four people?

 

Yes, he did not murder four people. It 's a legal term. 

 

OK, But he slammed his truck, 

 

First degree  murder, first to homicide and involuntary man slaughter, different things actually, Anderson. 

 

He killed four people, yes? Four people die.

 

Four people died.It says quietly at home. In fact, four people die, because Eason Couch got drunk ,  got behind the wheel, and killed them.

 

Now facing normal backlash to the sentence, Texas authorities are trying to put him into prison in connection with the other people who did not die in the incidence. They were in the back of pick up, they begged him to slow down reportedly. Instead, he sped up. S and M. S was paralyzed, and he was only  communicated by blinking his eyes.
