The Obama administration is sending its top envoy1 for East Asia to visit China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.

The State Department says Daniel Russel, assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, will start his visit on Monday.

A day earlier, the department said Deputy Secretary of State William Burns will visit South Korea, China and Japan starting on Sunday.

a U.S. spending bill which includes the clause restricting the procurement3 of Chinese information technology products was "discriminative4."

The MOC says the clause violated the principle of fair trade and revealed prejudice against China,

which will harm the bilateral5 IT cooperation and interests of enterprises in both countries.

It says the U.S. should correct the mistake to ensure the healthy development of Sino-U.S. trade relations.
