Chinese Premier1 Li Keqiang has arrived in Columbia's capital, Bogota.
As part of his 2nd stop in his 4-nation Latin American tour, Li Keqiang is scheduled to meet Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.
A series of deals are due to be signed as during the visit, ranging from trade, investment, infrastructure2 construction, manufacturing and culture.
The Chinese premier is also due to take part in a seminar on people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin America.
Li Keqiang's visit also coincides with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Colombia.
The water levels in 28 different rivers in southern China are now above warning levels.
This comes amid the heavy rains which have been pounding the south of China since Monday.
Local authorities are taking steps to try to keep water levels down.
Meanwhile, authorities in Guangdong are bracing3 for flooding along the Beijiang River, which is a tributary4 of the Pearl River.
