China asks WHO to treat COVID-19 origin-tracing as scientific issue

 

Chinese health officials say WHO's second phase origin study plan shows disrespect and arrogance¹. The second phase of the WHO's plan includes the hypothesis that China could have violated laboratory protocols² and caused the virus to leak during research. An international team convened³ by the WHO concluded earlier this year that the theory of a lab leak in Wuhan as "extremely unlikely".
