Nanjing’s new daily COVID-19 cases highest in months

 

The latest outbreak in Nanjing came to light when 17 workers at Lukou International Airport tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Other parts of China, including the provinces of Anhui, Guangdong, Sichuan, and Liaoning, have also seen cases related to the Nanjing cluster. With the Delta¹ variant² leading to many new cases around the world, scholars are calling for science-based origin tracing of the virus.
