Susie meets Abby in the kitchen. 苏希在厨房里看见雅碧，

Abby is the new secretary at the station. 雅碧是电视台里新来的秘书，

She is starting a recycling program. 她发起了一项资源回收计划。

Susie can help. 苏希可以帮忙，

She can remind people to wash their bottles and cans. 她可以提醒大家把瓶子和罐子洗干净。

They should also separate¹ paper, glass, metal and plastic garbage, too. 他们也应该把纸张、玻璃、金属类和塑料类的垃圾区分开来，

Then put them into the right recycling bins³. 然后各别丢入正确的回收桶里。

Recycling is good for the environment. 资源回收再利用有益环境。

Hi, Abby! How is your first day going? 雅碧，嗨！妳的第一天过得怎么样？

Why do you need to wash them? 为什么要洗？

Yes. We need to separate the garbage into groups. 没错，我们必须把垃圾分类。

1 separate
