How can they raise⁵ money? 他们该如何募款？

A few⁶ dollars can help a lot! 就算是几块钱也很有帮助！

Maybe they can sell cookies⁷. 也许他们可以卖饼干，

Or they can have a yard⁸ sale⁹. 或者举行庭院拍卖。

Jim thinks of a good idea. 吉姆想到了一个好点子，

Rob's church can have a car wash! 罗柏的教会可以举办一场洗车活动！

But they might¹⁰ get really wet. 可是他们可能会弄得全身湿淋淋的，

That's OK. They can have it in the church's parking¹¹ lot. 没关系， 他们可以在教会的停车场举办这场活动。

We're raising¹⁴ money. 我们要募款。

Why are you raising money? 你们为什么要募款？

Our church's kitchen is old. 我们教会的厨房太老旧了，

We need a new one. 我们需要一间新厨房设备。

You need a lot of money for that. 盖新厨房要很多钱呢。

Yeah. But we can raise money a little at a time. 是啊，不过我们募款可以一点一点慢慢来，

A few dollars can still help a lot! 就算是几块钱也还是很有帮助！

What about a yard sale? 举行庭院拍卖呢？

We did that last month. 上个月举行过了。
