Do you have any shoes like these?

I'm sorry. We don't have any.

But my sister bought this pair last month.

No, she bought them in the US.

We had³ some shoes like those a month ago, but we don't have any now.

Can you get a pair for me, please?

I'm afraid that I can't. They were in fashion⁴ last year and the year before last. But they're not in fashion this year.

These shoes are in fashion now.

They look very uncomfortable⁵.

宾语从句跟在两类词后：

1 表示人的情感或心理活动的形容词

afraid/sure/ sorry/ glad

主语+be动词+这类词

I am afraid.

We are glad.

主句和宾语从句中有that连接，后边加句子

到现在学习的程度，主句多为一般现在时。

当主句是一般现在时，从句可以用任何时态。

I am afraidthat I can't come tomorrow.

I am sorrythat I didn't go yesterday.

They aresure that they will win.

I am gladthat you can help them.

2 普通动词

think/ know/believe⁶/ say/ hope/ understand

主语（人）+这类动词+that+从句

I think thatyou are right.

She knowsthat you will come.

I believe Ican fly.

n.尺寸，大小；v.按大小排列或分类

参考例句：

• I think I can find the right size for you.我想我能给你找到合适的尺码。
• This room is twice the size of that one.这间屋子有那间两个大。

2 did   

v.动词do的过去式

参考例句：

• How many goals did you score in the last game?上一场比赛你们进了几个球？
• Why did you choose basketball in the first place?你为何首先选择篮球呢？

3 had   

vbl.have的过去式和过去分词；conj.有

参考例句：

• I just had a good idea!我有个好主意！
• The boy had a small branch of a tree in his hand.这个男孩手上拿一条小树枝。

4 fashion   

n.流行，风尚，时样，时装；v.形成，造，作

参考例句：

• The style of cloth is in fashion nowadays.现在这种布料正流行。
• She was dressed in the latest fashion.她穿着最新时装。

5 uncomfortable   

adj.不舒服的，不合意的，不安的

参考例句：

• He looked shy and uncomfortable.他看起来羞怯又不自在。
• It makes me feel uncomfortable.弄得我浑身不自在。

6 believe   

v.相信；认为

参考例句：
