Back to that abc News Exclusive and to the brand-new shockwaves tonight in the George Zimmerman case after that juror broke her silence telling our Robin1 Roberts that George Zimmerman got away with murder.
For myself, he is guilty. Because the evidence shows he's guilty.
Tonight she still stands by that verdict, saying she followed the law. But when Trayvon Martin's mother heard that, she had her own reaction, and so did George Zimmerman's team. Abc's Dan Harris on the fallout tonight.
Searing, deeply personal comments today from the mother of Trayvon martin.
Your son, you will never kiss again. I'm just asking you to wrap your mind around that. Wrap your mind around, no prom for Trayvon. No high school graduation for Trayvon. No college for Trayvon.
Hours earlier, Sabryna Fulton issued a statement in response to this abc News Exclusive interview with Juror B29, known only as "maddy" who said she initially2 fought to convict George Zimmerman of murder, before concluding the law simply did not support that verdict.
George Zimmerman got away with murder.
Fulton called the juror's comments "devastating3" and a confirmation4 of what we already knew in our hearts to be true, that George Zimmerman literally5 got away with murder.
In Philadelphia today, she also seemed to specifically address this comment from Juror B29.
I'm hurting as much as Trayvon Martin's mother, it's because there's no way that any mother should feel that pain.
Nobody is hurting worse than me as a parent. Me as a mom.
A very different take today from one of George Zimmerman's defense6 attorneys, who drew special attention to this exchange.
For myself, he's guilty, because the evidence shows he's guilty.
He's guilty of killing7 Trayvon Martin. But as the law was read to me, if you have no proof that he killed him intentionally8, you can't find, you can't say he's guilty.
Defense Attorney Mark O'mara singling out(挑选) that exchange on his blog today, using it to, quote unquote, applaud Juror B29 for going with her head rather than her heart that, he says, is the job of a juror. As for Trayvon Martin's mom, she today vowed9 to continue the fight, saying, quote, we cannot let this happen to anybody else's child. David.
Abc's Dan Harris tonight. Dan, thank you.
