The hack¹ into JPMorgan's customer database compromised personal data of more than 100 million customers.

Ziv Orenstein, Gery Shalon, and Joshua Samuel Aaron face 23 federal counts including wire and securities fraud and conspiracy² to commit money laundering³ allegedly done from 2012 to this past summer.

The hacks⁴ involved 12 companies including big name Wall Street corporations such as Dow Jones and notable online brokerage firms as well.

A JPMorgan spokeswoman says its continuing work with law enforcement to combat cybercrime aided in the arrests.
