Twitter considering a 10,000 character limit for tweets…

The company is currently¹ testing a version² of the feature where tweets would show up on your social feed as they do now, but you would be able to expand them to reveal³ more words.

The hope is to keep the same look and feel on your Twitter timeline while allowing more content.

The company currently uses a 10,000 characters in it's messaging feature.

Recode.net is reporting the change could happen within the next few months.
