The White House in a preview said the President will present what it calls a “bold agenda” on tax and regulatory overhauls¹, reforms in the workplace and a promise to repeal² and replace the Affordable³ Care Act.

More than 60 House Democrats⁴ boycotted⁵ the President’s Inauguration⁶. But White House spokesman Sean Spicer is optimistic about what to expect from Democrats for tonight’s speech:

(Spicer) “I hope a very robust⁷ and applause-filled reception. The speech as I mentioned, breaks down a lot of barriers that have traditionally been, political barriers where I think we should find agreement.”

Immediately after the address former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear will deliver the Democratic response.
