　　The Milu deer.
Milu deer used¹ to be common² in China long ago. However³ it disappeared⁴ during⁵ the last few⁶ centuries⁷. Too many of the deer had⁸ been killed⁹ and some were taken away to England. The deer liked the cool wet weather in Britain¹⁰ and the number of them increased¹¹ there. Not long ago, the biggest nature¹² park for milu deer was¹³ set¹⁴ up in Beijing. They got¹⁵ some deer from Britain in 1985. Every since¹⁶ then, the number of muli deer has grown. There are more reseach centers¹⁷ for Milu deer in China. Milu deer are well looked after at present. It is hoped¹⁸ that one day there will be so many of them that they can live in the wild¹⁹ again.
