　　Sometimes the hardest part of talking to people is figuring out how to start the conversation. This can be particularly intimidating² when you want to talk to someone that you have not previously³ met. Here are some conversation starters:

　　有时候，与人交谈中最困难的部分是如何开始谈话。当你想和一个你此前从未见过的人交谈时，可能会特别胆怯。这里有些开启谈话的妙方：

　　Make eye contact and offer a smile

　　You need to find someone ‘available’. Making eye contact will lead you to the person who’s also willing⁴ to talk. And after you offer a smile, try to strike up a conversation.
