Lesson 63 Sue’s diary¹: The donkey²
Grandfather and I
walked into town
a few³ days ago.
On the way
we noticed⁴ a lot of people.
“What’s going⁵ on?”grandpa asked.
“Let’s have a look,”I said⁶.
“Look!” I cried.
“There’s a donkey
walking across⁷ the road!”
We both watched the donkey.
It was⁸ very funny.
It stopped
in the middle of the road
and it stopped
all the traffic⁹, too!
