A home is a place where people can cook, eat, sleep, relax, and care for their children. It protects people from harsh weather-the freezing snow or blizzard1, the pouring of heavy rain, the howling of the wild wind, the glare and heat of the burning sun-as well as from insects, wild animals, and other dangers.
