Has /have gone to

Someone¹ has gone to a place but has not yet² returned³.
指某人去了某地，但是还没有回来

【例句】

He's gone to the bank. He should be back soon.
他去银行了。应该快回来了。
She's gone to Moscow⁴, she will be back next week.
她去莫斯科了。下周会回来。
Where has Eric gone? He was⁵ here a minute ago!
Eric去哪了？一分钟前他还在这呢。

Has / Have Been to
someone has visited a place at some time in their life⁶.
指某人去过某地，已经回来，强调这种经历。

【例句】

He's been to London many times.
他去过伦敦很多次了。
I've been to France twice⁷.
我去过法国两次。
Ask Tom for some money. He's been to the bank today.
问Tom给你借些钱吧。他今天去过银行了。
