A Baltimore officer was acquitted1 Monday of an assault and other charges in the arrest of Friddie Gray. The judge in the non-jury trial concluded Edward Nero did not play a large role in Gray's arrest. Gray died from injuries suffered in the back of a police van.
A pair of bombings carried out by Islamic State militants2 killed at least 45 people in Yemen on Monday. Security officials say the bombers3 targeted young men seeking to join the army at a recruitment center and outside the home of an army commander.
