Donald Trump¹ says he raised 5.6 million dollars for veterans during a January fundraiser in protest of a Fox News debate. He also named the charities that received the money. The presumptive Republican nominee² had been under pressure to account for the money he raised. Previously³, he claimed the fundraiser had collected 6 million dollars.

President Obama is urging Americans to be prepared this hurricane season. Obama was briefed by officials at FEMA Tuesday, a day before the start of hurricane season. He encouraged people to develop their own evacuation plans. This year's Atlantic hurricane season is projected to be near normal after 3 relatively⁴ slow years.

In northeast Colorado, video shows a tornado⁵ ripping apart a barn. The National Weather Service says the tornado was on the ground for about 30 miles near the town of Peetz. No injuries were reported.

And in Texas, a hacker⁶ with a political motive⁷. Morning commuters in the Dallas Areas drove by electronic construction signs displaying "Bernie for president" and "Donald Trump is a shape shifting lizard⁸." It appears the signs were hacked⁹ to display the message.
