President Trump¹ and First Lady Melania Trump were among those paying respect to former President George H. W. Bush. The 41st President is lying in state at the Capitol Rotunda². His funeral is Wednesday.

Israeli military announced that it launched an operation to expose and thwart³ tunnels built by Hezbollah. Israel says the militant⁴ group dug the tunnels from Lebanon into northern Israel with plans to use them in an attack.

There were protests outside Wisconsin's Capital with lawmakers set to vote Tuesday on restricting the incoming Democratic governor's power. Republicans say a new balance of power is needed. Democrats⁵ say it's a last-minute power grab.

Thousands of students in Paradise, California are back in school. Schools reopen Monday nearly a month after the fire that devastated⁶ the town.
