Manafort, the former Trump campaign chair, was convicted of financial crimes on Tuesday. Cohen, Trump's former attorney pleaded guilty to felonies, which his lawyer says were coordinated³ with Trump.

Authorities in Iowa say a man from Mexico confess to kidnapping and killing⁴ college student Mollie Tibbetts. Cristhian Bahena Rivera, who is in the US illegally, is charged with first degree murder.

And people in Hawaii are preparing for Hurricane Lane, a powerful category 5 storm in the Pacific. The hurricane is forecast to come dangerously close to the main Hawaii Islands this week, bringing fierce winds and flash floods.
