In a stinging rebuke¹ to President Donald Trump², the Congress has overridden³ his veto of a defense⁴ policy bill, a first by lawmakers since Trump took office. In a New Year's Day session, the Republican-controlled Senate dismissed Trump's objections to the $740 billion bill.
