I wonder how the weather’s made? 我想知道天气如何形成？

And where the factory stands? 工厂在哪里？

And if our weather merchants trade 天气商人是否

In all the foreign lands? 在海外做生意？

I wonder where they get the things 我想知道他们从哪儿弄到这些东西

To make the snow and storm, 制造出了雪和风暴，

And winds that howl¹ and winds that sing, 咆哮的风和歌唱的风，

Suppose a weather famine³ came, 假设饥荒来了，

And every bit had fled— 每一块都跑掉了——

I wonder who would get the blame? 我想知道该怪谁？

1 howl   

vi./n.嚎叫；怒吼；嚎哭
