 　　So, I know this--that whether you're an actor, you offer your talent in the way that most inspires aret. If you're an anatomist, you look at your gift as knowlege and service to healing. Whether you've been called, as so many of you here today getting doctorates¹ and other degrees, to the professions of business, law, engineering, humanities, science, medicine, if you choose to offer your skills and talent in service, when you choose the paradigm² of service, looking at life through that paradigm, it turns everything you do from a job into a gift. And I know you haven't spent all this time at Standford just to go out and get a job.

　　So, you've been enriched in countless³ ways. There's no better way to make your mark on the world and to share that abundance with others. My constant prayer for myself is to be used in service for the greater good.

　　So, let me end with one of my favorite quotes from Martin Luther king. Dr. King said, "Not everybody can be famous." And I don't know, but everybody today seeems to want to be famous.

　　奥普拉脱口秀2011年停播

　　2009年11月20日，据国外媒体报道，在播出了23年之后，脱口秀女王奥普拉·温弗瑞的节目《奥普拉脱口秀》将于2011年9月9日结束。

　　美国当地时间11月19日本周四，奥普拉向自己总部设在芝加哥的Harpo公司员工透露，她将在本周五的节目中正式宣布自己的离去。无论这是否意味着她将开设一档新的脱口秀节目，奥普拉已经确定将在自己与探索频道联手打造的新频道OWN出任一个重要的位置。当然，探索频道的高管大卫·扎斯拉夫（David Zaslav）肯定非常希望奥普拉能将脱口秀节目搬到新频道，这一有线电视频道将于2011年1月正式开播。

　　但也有消息透露，《奥普拉脱口秀》不会移师OWN，但奥普拉本人将在那里主持一档新的日间节目。不过至少，从2011年9月开始，OWN将获得过去25年的全部《奥普拉脱口秀》录像的版权。也有传闻说，在《奥普拉脱口秀》的关键编辑丽莎·艾斯帕梅转投OWN担任创意总监后，奥普拉过去几周的节目已经非常困难。前者从2006年开始担任《奥普拉脱口秀》的联合执行制片。
