 The US military is sending about a thousand more troops to the Phillipines to help typhoon relief efforts.Helicopters from the aircraft carrier US says Gerorge Washington are delivering food and water.Conditions in the hard hit city of Tacloban are getting better and distribution while still tough to continue to improve.The BBC's Ricle reports from a food distribution center on the island of Sabo.

Hundreds of volunteers from all   flights have come together to help pack relief food for the victims of typhooe Haiyan.There are tons of food here,a relief food    ,60    of rice,10 tan goods from beans to meatloaf and this relief pack basiclly feed   a family of 5 for 2 to 3 days.From here this will defect into rice size 5 and they will distribute to typhoon hit areas of late summer The BBC's Rico in Sabo,Phillipines.

Former Tresury secretary Timerthy Gaterna has a new job,NPR's Sam Sanders reports.

The firm is called Walberke Penkes,Timmerthy Gaterna will become their president in March,the firm announced in a statement.Gaterna served as treasury³ secretary under president Obama.In that role he oversaw⁴ the administration's efforts to stablize financinal industry and bill out the nation's auto⁵ industry.Before that job,Gaterna led the federal reserve bank of NY.Since leaving treasury Gaterna joined the council Unformulations and he made round on speaking cercuits,he is also working on the behinde scene book about the financial crisis.Walberk manage about 35 billon dollars in assets,the NY based company had a role in buy out bortion law and sale of NL markets.Sam Sanders,NPR News.
