I can't get him to do the house chores³?

我不能让他去做家务琐事。

A: What's wrong with you? You look awful⁴.

你怎么了？你看起来很沮丧。

B: I think my son watches TV too much. I always have him do his homework before playing a game, but he never listens to me.

我想我的儿子看电视太多了。我总是让他玩游戏前做家庭作业，但是他从来不听我的。

A: TV is a problem⁵ in every house. You know my husband⁶ never lets me have the remote⁷ control⁸. We're always fghting over it.

B: My son never helps me clean his room.

我儿子从来不帮我整理他的屋子。

A: Oh, goodness⁹. My husband doesn't, either¹⁰. I can't get him to do the house chores.

B: Why do wise¹¹ women like us have to live with these lazy¹² men?
