　　Jack¹ felt rain drops he looked up and saw the summer storm cloud .

Hurry! Jack called to Anne.

They were riding their bikes home form library, Jack’s backpackwas filled with library books. He didn’t want them to get wet, asJack and Anne piddled fast, a large wet bird swopped over themand flew into the frog creek² woods.

Did you see that? Cried Jack.

A seagull. Called Anne. it’s a sign.

You are right. Said Jack.

The last time they ‘ve seen a seagull in frog creek, the magic treehouse was waiting fro them.

The woods, said Anne,Jack and Anne pumped their books on the curb³, the rain fell harderand they headed into the wet woods. Their bike tires pumped overthe rough ground, crushing leaves and snapping twigs,It must be time to look for another secret of happiness for Merlin ,Jack called.

I hope Merlin’s feeling better. Shouted Anne.

I hope Anne and Catherine came to the tree house. Shouted Jack.

Jack and Anne steered⁴ their bike under cannon⁵ piece, in the wetleaves, by the time they came to the tallest oak in the woods, theseagull had disappeared, but the magic tree house was back. itwas high in the tallest oak, its rope ladder swing in the wind andrain , Jack and Anne climbed off their bikes, promped them againthe trunk of the tree,Teddy, Catherine! Anne shouted .

There was no answer.

I guess they didn’t come this time. Jack said.

Done. Said Anne. I really want to see them.

Boo! Two elder kids looked down out of the tree house window. Acurly haired boy with a big green, and a girl with the sea blue eyesand beautiful smile,. Both were wearing long green cloaks.

Yeah! Cried Anne. and Jack.

The rain felled harder and theystarted climb up the rope ladder,when they climbed into the tree house, they yawned off by thecoming and hug from Teddy and Catherine.

Morgan sent us to tell you about your next mission for Merlin. SaidTeddy.

How is Merlin? Asked Anne.

Teddy stopped smiling, he shook his head,Merlin still suffered form unspoken and sorrow. Catherine saidsadly.

When can we see him? Asked Anne.

We learned to seek great secrets of happiness to show with him.

Said Jack.

You may visit him after you have learned twomore secrets. SaidCatherine. Morgan believes four is the magic number that wouldsure our success. We have come to send you for your searching forthird secret. Said Teddy.

Catherine took a book from her under cloak and handed it to Jackand Anne. form morgan’s hands, to our hands, to yours. She said.

Jack took the book from her, the cover showed the waves crushingon the beach. The deep sea.

Whoa. Said Jack. We are going to the ocean?

Yes. Said Teddy. That is where you will next search for our secretsof happiness.

The ocean always makes me happy. Said Anne. once Jack and Itraveled to a cowry form swamp to dolphins, and we were runningto the octopods, they were nice and shinning.

But the shark we saw wasn’t shy. Jack broke in. it had a bighammer head.

Oh, ma’ma. Said Catherine.

We took a ride in a minute surb. Said Anne. it was so cool.

Until it started to lick and ....said Jack.

We had to do a skip. Said Anne.

Yeah. Said Jack. We tried no to splash. So the shark would notnotice us.

We have somuch fun. Said Anne.

Catherine smiled.

Of course. Said Jack.

Jack washed into his bag and pulled out the silvery wand. It wasshaped like the speared horn of the unicorn⁶.

Sure. Said Jack.

To make magic we use a wish with only five words.

And before we use the wand, we had to try our hardest. Said Anne.

And wand can only be used for the good of others. Said Jack. Notjust ourselves.

Exactly. Said Teddy.

I wonder who the others would be on this mission? Said Anne.

She looked at Teddy and Catherine,maybe you guys?

I fear not. Said Catherine. You must find the third secret on yourown.

Just remember to keep your wash about you. Said Teddy.

Lighting⁷ flash of the woods, as Jack pointed⁸ to the cover of theocean bookI wish we could go there. He said.

Thunder cracked in the dark sky, the wind blew harder. The treehouse started to spin. It span faster and faster. Then everythingwas still. Absolutely still.
