 Miss Fox and her students are playing a game.  狐狸老师和她的学生们在做游戏。

They are telling a story.  他们在讲故事。

Each student says one sentence¹.  每位学生讲一句话。

Miss Fox starts. 狐狸老师开始了。

Long long ago, there was² a mountain. 很久以前，这儿有一座山。

Sam is quick. 萨姆很快。

There was a house on the mountain. 山上有一栋房子。

Great, Sam! 真棒，萨姆！

Willy says the next sentence. 威利接着说下一句。

An old man and a little boy lived in the house. 一个老人和一个小男孩住在房子里。

Wonderful, Willy! 很精彩，威利！

Billy says a sentence too. 比利也说了一句话。

The old man told the boy a story. 老人给小男孩讲故事。

Good! 很棒！

It is Bobby's turn. He is thinking³ hard. 轮到波比了。他努力想了想。

Bobby, what's next? 波比，下一句呢？

Long long ago, there was ... a mountain. 很久以前，这儿有……一座山。

Ha! Ha! We have to start the story again. 哈哈！我们又回到故事的开头了。
