Disney Animation¹ is the most popular spot in Disneyland.

You may see the art of Bringing Disney characters to life.

You will find the secrets of how animators apply their imagination to the screen.

When you enter the circular lobby,

you will marvel² at the enormous multimedia³ displays and breathtaking sound system.

Original character sketches⁴ appear on the giant screens along with the clips

from the Animate⁵ Academy is the magical classroom, if you will.

You will learn the secrets of how to draw classic Disney characters

with a hands-on lesson from Disney artists.

When class is over, you can take home your masterpiece.

After visiting Animation Academy, please do not forget to cheek out three rooms

that each contain interactive⁶ experiences exploring the development of

character appearance, personality and voice.

They are next to the Academy, if you need further help,

please do not hesitate to tell me.

Assistant listening devices could be used at this location

and are available at the Guest Reception Desk in the lobby.

If you use wheelchair, you may enter through the standard queue

and proceed to the Courtyard Gallery.
