　　Xiaogao: I don't, but I really wanna learn. Did you hear about the amazing achievement of Google's AI robot, AlphaGo?

　　Jingjing: I heard about it, but why are you so excited?

　　Xiaogao: Because it's the first AI program that could beat a professional player at the most complex board game mankind has ever created.

　　Jingjing: I thought computers have been able to beat humans at chess for a long time. What's the big deal?

　　XG: You're right, but there's a huge difference between chess and Go. Computers can easily beat humans because it is way less complicated¹.Computers don't need to be smart to win at chess, they just need to be fast. A computer can use a technique called brute² force to win at chess. This is not possible with Go. AlphaGo uses real artificial³ intelligence called deep learning⁴ in order to solve problems.

　　Xiaogao: This is important because it shows great potential for AI to solve other complicated problems, such as complex weather conditions,disease control, and global warming issues.

　　Jingjing: I heard the AI robot only won 4 out of 5 matches. Does that mean that AI has room for improvement⁵?

　　Xiaogao: That's right. The robot isn't perfect, but it certainly impressed the entire world. Some of AlphaGo's moves were described as “beautiful” by Go fans.
