The Girl in a CD Store

Once, there was a boy who suffered1 from cancer... a type of cancer that can't be cured2. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. For the most part of his life, he had been stuck in his house; being3 taken care of by his mother. He never went outside. One day, he was so sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother if he could go out, and she gave him permission4.

He walked down his block5 and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store, and as he walked, he looked through the window for a second. Then he stopped, and went back to look into the store again.

He saw a young girl, about his age. It was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat behind.

She looked up and asked, "Can I help you?" She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. He wanted to kiss her instantly6, right there in the shop. He said: "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD." He picked a CD from one of the shelves in the store, and gave her money for it. "Would you like me to wrap7 it for you?" she asked, smiling with her cute smile again. He nodded8 and she went to the back.
女孩抬头问道：“您需要帮助吗？”女孩微笑着，他认为这是他见过的最美丽的笑容。他想马上过去亲吻女孩，就在店里。他说：“呃……这个……呃……我想买一张CD。”他从店里的一个货架上挑选了一张CD，把钱交给了女孩。“我帮您把CD包起来吧？”她问道，再次露出了可爱的笑容。他点了点头，然后女孩走向了CD店的后面。
She returned with the wrapped9 CD, and gave it to him. He took it from her and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day, bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. At home, he put every CD in his closet10. But he was still too shy to ask her out. He really wanted to, but he couldn't.
回来时，女孩手里拿着包好的CD，递给了他。他接过CD，就出门离开了。他回家了，但从那时起，他每天都会去那家店里买一张CD，女孩每次都会把CD包好递给他。在家里，他把从那家店里买来的每张CD都放在了自己的衣柜里。但是，他还是因为太害羞而没有向女孩表白。他真的想向女孩袒露心扉，但他却没有。
When his mother found out about this, she told him to just ask her if she liked him too. So the next day, he gathered11 all his courage12 and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she wrapped it in the back of the store. He took it, and when she turned around and wasn't looking at him anymore, he left his phone number on the front desk and ran outside...
后来，他的母亲发现了他的心思，并鼓励他去问问女孩是否也喜欢他。于是，第二天，他终于鼓足了勇气，来到了那家CD店。他还是像每天一样买了一张CD，女孩也像每天一样在CD店的后面帮他把CD包好。他接过CD，当女孩转过身没注意到他的时候，他把自己的电话号码留在了前台，向店外跑去……
!!!RRRRRING!!! The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?" It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy. The mother started to cry and said: "You don't know? He passed away yesterday..." Later in the day, the mother went to the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she should start by looking at his clothes. So she opened his closet. Then, she saw piles13 and piles of unopened CDs.
