Yang Li: I'm sure there's a bee in here! 这里明明有嗡嗡的叫声嘛！How do you describe that sound in English?

Diarmuid: We say it's a buzzing sound. Buzz² is spelled B.U.Z.Z. And it's our word for the day.

Yang Li: Buzz 这个词字面意思是嗡嗡的声音，不过也可以用来表示打电话，拨个电话。

Diarmuid: Yes, I'm sure people know phrases like 'give me a call' or 'I'll give you a ring.' Well, you'll often hear this word buzz instead of call or ring, when talking about making a quick phone call.
