It’s week 8 of the Olympic torch relay¹. The flame has been making its way around the UK and this week it has been travelling through the east of England.

At the weekend, it will be in the historic² university city of Cambridge, known for its beautiful buildings and academic traditions.

There are a number of interesting footbridges in Cambridge crossing the River Cam, and they form part of the famous poem Zai Bie Kang Qiao 《再别康桥》by poet Xu Zhimo 徐志摩。
