Michael Jackson's second posthumous¹ album Xscape is soon to be released worldwide. The first albumreleased after his death in 2009 was poorlyreceived.

Each song has been given a modern makeover by Justin Timber lake and other top producers in the industry. Despite low expectations, most reviews have been positive. Music journalist says each reworked song lovingly reflects and enhances the era it was recorded in.

Germany has lain claim to a huge collection of books and musical manuscripts left in Krakow inPoland by the Nazis³. Hundreds of thousands of works including Beethoven, Bach and Mozartwere taken to a Polish castle during the war and left there. They are now in the University ofKrakow from where Steve Evens reports.

At the university library in Krakow in Poland, an assistant lovingly uncovers a book which ismore than 1000 years old. She places it reverently⁴ on a table, handwritten in Latin. And it isbeautiful. But it's just one of more than 200,000 works hidden by the Nazis in Poland and whichGermany now wants back.

That situation is very impossible to happen. However, theoretically, if it happened, it will be a very weird⁵ circumstance because we've been doing our best to maintain these books in even better condition. So we've done a lot to preserve them, to restore them to their original state.

It's not just the written word which is in the Polish collection, but musical scores written by the greatest German composers.

It's pretty amazing to have in front of you the original scores.
