Hi there, I'm Sonali from the BBC World News for Schools. It's Monday the 4th of April.

First, many people in Ivory Coast's main city, Abidjan are trapped in their homes without food, water and electricity. They can't leave because of the violence on the streets over who should be President. Fighting between supporters of the leader, Laurent Gbagbo and those loyal to his main opponent, has led to 800 people being killed in the last week. Thousands, including many children, are fleeing the country. Mike Sunderland works with the charity, Save the Children. His organisation's been helping³ children who've been turning up in neighbouring Liberia... 

CLIP⁴: "There's a girl who was found... who arrived at the border just yesterday, having been brought there by a woman she didn't know at all. The girl was just two years old and was discovered by the side of the road with no parents... This was a wave of refugees⁵ and she'd somehow lost her mother on the way." 

Next to Japan. Engineers at the damaged Fukishima nuclear plant are using coloured dye to try to help them them find the exact point where radiation is leaking into the sea. Over the weekend they tried to plug a crack in the plant, which was badly damaged in the earthquake and tsunami⁶ last month, but it doesn't seem to have worked. Officials have warned it could take months to sort out the power station's problems. 

India's cricket fans have been celebrating, after claiming the game's greatest one day prize - the World Cup... 

CLIP: "India... India... India... It means the world to us." "Sachin's got the World Cup, we're happy." "Oh, I'm so happy, I'm so satisfied, this is what we wanted to give to Sachin Tendulkar, and the whole of the nation needed this victory, now this is our time and we have to enjoy ourselves -- and I don't have words now because I have a very bad sore throat. " 

Well they beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in Mumbai. India's captain, M.S.Dhoni scored the winning runs by hitting a six into the crowd and India's superstar batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, was carried around the stadium in triumph by his team-mates. 

And for today's question we want to know what countries share a border with India? 

Now, where would you expect to see a statue of Michael Jackson? A pop museum maybe, a hall of fame perhaps? But probably not at the entrance of a Premier⁷ League football club. Well Fulham fans got quite a surprise when the club's chairman, Mohammed Al Fayed unveiled a huge statue of the King of Pop. Al Fayed reckons⁸ the fans love it, but it seems some aren't so sure... 

CLIP: "We're a laughing stock aren't we? It's nothing to do with football." "I don't really think we should have it, no. Personally I don't. It's not something that's connected to our club."
