Radio 4's obituary¹ programme, telling the lives of significant figures who have recently died. This week John Wilson marks the lives of Arthur Goldreich, who sheltered and taught the young Nelson Mandela and led the armed wing of the ANC in the fight against South African apartheid. Crime writer Mark Billingham pays tribute to actor Peter Falk who created shambolic television detective Columbo. We hear about union activist² - and feminist³ campaigner - Terry Marsland.
