Small business optimism¹

Confidence among the UK's small businesses is on the rise once again. But despite a bit of good news from the Autumn Statement, the industry trade body say access to finance² is still proving difficult. Young entrepreneurs³ from 13 countries are to set up firms in the UK under a Government scheme to attract graduates here. We speak with a footballer turned shoemaker from New Zealand who is one of those selected. And British exports like One Direction have helped the UK's music industry contribute á3.5 billion according to a report from the sector⁴.
