YouTube signs a deal with thousands of independent music labels, ending a long-running spat² over its streaming service, the BBC understands. The move paves the way for the imminent³ launch of YouTube's music subscription⁴ service. Some of the world's biggest banks brace⁵ themselves for another round of mutli-billion-dollar fines - this time for allegedly rigging currency markets. And we crack open a row over mayonnaise as a new brand, Just Mayo, attracts the anger of bigger, rival firms like Hellmann's, who've accused it of misleading consumers because the product doesn't contain any eggs. Plus, we hear about the cutbacks silencing musicians at Rome's Opera House.
