Thousands of people from a persecuted² ethnic³ minority from Myanmar, are believed to be adrift in the Andaman Sea, refused entry by Indonesia and Malaysia. Also, over-use of antibiotics⁴ over decades means many bacteria have become resistant⁵. Pharmaceutical⁶ companies currently have little incentive⁷ to develop new drugs because they're not very profitable. Now the industry is being urged to set up a 2 billion dollar innovation fund to kick start research into antibiotics. And we hear why bringing your whole self to work might make you more productive.

1 stranded
