Six of the world's biggest banks are fined a total of six billion dollars for their involvement in the foreign exchange rigging scandal. The banks include Barclays, whose total levy² comes to $2.4bn. The fines are being imposed by several US agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Commodities Futures³ Trading Commission, the New York State Department for Financial Services, and the UK's Financial Conduct Authority.
