 As the bee is trying to find her way home, she is tracked by the radar¹.  She flies on auto² pilot 500 meters northwest. She gets to where she thinks the hives should be, but of course it's not there, she has to use a different navigation system to find it, one that uses landmark³ in the countryside to find her way home.

So she is still flying towards the hive? 

Ok, she heads to the hive.

 

Before she can disappear into the hive, our radar bee is intercepted⁴ and antenna⁵ is removed.

Next bee *** pesticide⁶.

 

It quickly become apparent that something is up, *******.

Rather than heading straight home, she starts to make a series of radical⁷ change off course.
