 　　The China Consumer Association has asked tech-giant Apple to sincerely apologize to Chinese consumers, after the US firm took little action to address criticism of its after-sales policy.

　　The association says Apple should follow China’s law and offer a minimum two year warranty1 period on ipads, which are categorized as portable computers. It’s also calling on Apple to inform consumers if refurbished parts are used when repairing broken devices, and adjust repair costs accordingly. The case arose after a CCTV report accused Apple of offering discriminatory after-sales services in China. Apple later issued a statement saying it’s dedicated2 to making first-class products and attaches great importance to all consumers. The company has been accused of arrogance3 by some Chinese netizens.
　　消协说苹果公司已经承认将Ipad归类为便携式电脑，就应该按照中国法律为其提供至少两年的保修期。如果维修时使用翻新零部件，维修苹果公司还应该告知消费者并相应调整维修价格。前日，一份CCYV报告披露了苹果公司对中国消费者实行歧视性售后服务并引发了该事件。随后，苹果公司发表申明称其致力于制造一流的电子产品并高度重视所有消费者。苹果公司已被一些中国网名指控傲慢自大。
